Confucius Temple

ˇˇˇˇAltar of Apricot. It was said to be the place where Confucius once delivered lectures to his disciples. Pavilion was first built on altar in Jin Dynasty. There are two stone tablets in pavilion, one was written by Dang Huaiying, Jin Dynasty, another was written by Emperor QianLong, Qing dynasty. The present building was built in Ming dynasty.



Houtang Tower
Houtang Tower, which is in the same structure with Qiantang Tower,was where Kongdecheng and his wife lived. All the furniture and other things were laid out as they were when the couples got married. The east room was "guest receiving room". The inner room was the sitting -room of Kongdecheng and his wife. A photograph of ˇˇKongdecheng's family has been displayed there .Fe tang Tower was theplace for the family members of the Duke to burn incense and pray to ˇˇthe buddhism.


Archway of Yushi

The Archway of Yushi was built to commemorate her for her virtues in 1825, the 5th year of the reign of Emperor Daoguang. On the top of the archway were inscribed the gilt four Chinese scripts "luan yin bao de".
